Communal Lunches are part of Inaugural Artist Kathrin Böhm’s Culture is a Verb commission for Mansions of the Future. Each monthly lunch has a different theme and uses food— its production, consumption and policies – as the perfect common denominator to connect everyone around the table.

The monthly lunches are an opportunity to meet others, share a locally sourced lunch together and have informal conversations about topics including, but not limited to cooperatives, communities and food growth and production.

November’s lunch is titled Herb Charmsand coincides with upcoming intimate exhibition, Wild City. Speaking at this month’s lunch is Herbalist Hannah Sylvester. Hannah has worked alongside Wild City artist, Liz Davis, in recreating an Anglo Saxon Nine Herb Charm for the occasion of the exhibition opening in Lincoln. Artist Liz Davis will also join us as we talk together about herbs and those attending will have the opportunity to view Davis’ exhibition, Wild City.
