Join us with all the family for a FREE day of ADVENTURES at Whisby Nature Park.

Mansions of the Future in collaboration with Love Lincs Plants & Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust are hosting Wilderness – a free day of family adventures at Whisby Nature Park.

The summer trip will feature artist led activity sessions and will be an opportunity for children and families alike to explore Whisby Nature Park and learn more about Lincolnshire’s botanical heritage with the Lincolnshire Wildlife Team.

There will be a free coach to Whisby Nature Park leaving from outside Mansions of the Future at 9.30am and returning to the same location at the end of the day at around 4.30pm. Coach places are limited and if you are able to access transport and make your own way to the park, please do let us know.

Refreshments will kindly be provided by Whisby Education Centre, but please bring with you a picnic lunch for the family.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

The Love Lincs Plants project is led by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, which aims to preserve Lincolnshire’s botanical heritage with a new collection of Lincolnshire plants and inspire young future botanists. The project spanning across Lincolnshire is inspired by Sir Joseph Banks, an 18th Century Lincolnshire naturalist who voyaged around the world with Captain Cook. The project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and supported by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, the Natural History Museum, Lincolnshire Naturalists’ Union, Sir Joseph Banks Society and the University of Lincoln.
