Delivery period: Autumn 2019
Mansions of the Future (MotF) is looking for an experienced and creative Assistant Facilitator to support the delivery of an exciting artist commission at HMP Lincoln prison in Autumn 2019.
As part of a significant commission by artist Ruth Beale, the workshops will explore ‘Possible Futures’ with prisoners, departing from sci-fi and fantasy references to promote professional and creative skills development with prisoners, nurturing real-world creative outcomes.
The appropriate candidate will be working closely with Ruth Beale, the MotF Director, the producing team and prison staff. The dates for project delivery will be agreed in conversation with the successful candidate. The post is freelance, and as such the appointed candidate will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance Contributions.
Due to the nature of this role, a DBS check will be required and paid for by MotF. We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, therefore applicants will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
